FlyteStrom Releases FlyteCAN Devices
For some time, we've been developing
electronic hardware and embedded software for our customers. Often the
customer is at a more "conceptual stage" and not able to accuratly
identify their needs enough to form a definite specification. The future
of their product may well be determined by creating a prototype and putting
it before the market for assessment. The difficulty lies with the cost
of developing the specific electronic hardware for that. In our experience,
we're continually designing in the same kinds of circuits onto their boards
with marginally different stlyes and configurations.
While software is flexible and rapid to change, electronic hardware is
not. For this reason, we've devloped a number of hardware building blocks
which encompass the common hardware designs. These are the FlyteCAN devices
and should be viewed as development tools similar to compilers and emulators.
They enable you to begin without developing a circuit board.
With FlyteCAN devices, we can neatly string together the hardware and
get the application level software going. As the customers market is established
and the technical unknowns are worked through, confident development of
well specified electronic hardware can begin. There's no reason why your
first revision couldn't be your only revision.
So if you :-
- Need to show the market.
- Want a platform to establish unknown concepts
- Require preliminary testing of mechanical apparatus.
- Are making a small volume product.
" development with FlyteCAN devices could be the thing for you."
